Wang Quan'an (1965) is a Chinese director, born in Yan'an. He studied at the Beijing Film Academy. For ten years he had a relationship with actress and muse Yu Nan. In contrast to many of his contemporaries who focus on urban life, he chooses Chinese rural life, such as in 'Jingzhe' and 'Tuya's Marriage'.
