Tonight @cinepilou's screening! 🧙‍♀️ Aft Tonight @cinepilou's screening! 🧙‍♀️ After a relaxing holiday, Cinépilou is back with a new film for children aged 4 and over: "La sorcière dans les airs", a magical tale about friendship and family! 🌀 " La sorcière dans les airs " - 26 min: A friendly witch, her cat and her cauldron fly away on a broom. What a joy to fly! But the wind starts to blow very hard, and a hungry dragon has just woken up... Do you know the Gruffalo, that not so scary monster? Its creators have concocted a new story as fantastic and clever as his! The sweet-hearted witch, the gluttonous dragon, all red and fond of chips, the slightly selfish cat, the very tender dog, the overly green bird and the very English frog are the characters of this adventure, which is a little scary but not too scary and ends on the most modern and magnificent of broomsticks. The simple narrative form built on repetition makes the film completely accessible to children from 4 years old, who will let themselves be carried away by Pierre Richard's deep and soft voice. In the pre-programme : 🌀 " Just a little bit " - 9 min. : A pig goes cheerfully to the lake. On the way, he meets a hedgehog, a crow, a lamb and a cow. On the way, this merry band crosses a toad who proposes to everyone to grant his dearest wish. 🌀 " A wonderful day " - 15 min. : An ordinary day turns into a fantastic adventure for a cat and its mistress. [CINE-RENCONTRE] This sunday 18:00 👉 The monopo [CINE-RENCONTRE] This sunday 18:00 👉 The monopoly of violence (Un pays qui se tient sage) in French with English subtitles followed by a Q&A with the director, producer, and translator of the film! David Dufresne delivers a powerful documentary dissecting the current philosophy behind law enforcement and questioning the legitimacy of the disproportionate use of violence. In the fall of 2018, a spontaneous and non-aligned social movement that continues to this day emerges in France: the Yellow Vests movement, which takes up many social demands and initiates many actions and demonstrations on a national scale, during which violent confrontations between demonstrators and police forces are recurring and are widely covered on the social web through videos captured by citizens or journalists. A public debate then arises on the use of violence by the police and on the right to film and publish images of state representatives. It is in this context that David Dufresne confronts demonstrators, police officers and academics with images of police violence and collects their reactions. Link in bio!
