LISTENING SESSION / CONCERT / MOVIE
SUNDAY 29.01 / 3:00pm – 9:00pm
This exhibition has been created as a physical itinerary in Bruxelles and its cultural venues. But is it also as a wandering of the mind and eye of the cinema-goer inside Jarmusch’s aesthetics images and mindscapes and constant permeability between music and the visual arts.
LISTENING SESSION / 3:00pm
We’ve invited the record label « I WILL PLAY THIS SONG ONCE AGAIN RECORDS », founded by Sylvain Chauveau and Florent Garnier to play a selection of sounds inspired by Jim Jarmusch’s cinema to wander with us in the Jarmuschian locations of Bruxelles
CONCERT / Jesus is my son (BE) / 5:00pm
Grégory Duby is a guitarist from Brussels (BE) active in the field of rock and improvised music. Besides his project Jesus is my son, he plays in the loud band Zoho and previously in the trio K-branding. He records albums of improvised and noise music. He created the label FF HHH and is one of the mainstays of Mandaï Distribution.
With Jesus is my son, Grégory wants to approach the idea of immortality, to render each moment eternal. Thanks to this slowness or pattern repetitions, the time stretches itself and eternity may rush into these free spaces. “
