MOTEL ROSE

Behind the glitz and glamor of a city is a red-light district and Motel Rose. Mina, a middle school girl, works at Motel Rose as a Housekeeper during the break. There she meets Hannah, a girl who looks just like the super star Rose. A teenage runaway, Hannah works at the motel as a sex worker under the nickname Rose, but her dream is to be a real super star, just like Rose. Mina, a lonely introvert, begins to change as she grows closer to Hannah at the motel.

Mina lives with her sick mother in an old apartment building. Mina’s mother suffers from a disease that turned her into a monster in a cocoon. Mina tries hard to take care of her mother, but her mother’s condition worsens and is on the brink of death. Mina’s boyfriend, Chul-gu, starts to become suspicious of her family.
